There are just some bands that for one reason or another you just don’t pay attention to. Not for lack of opportunities. Laura Stevenson and The Cans is the most recent one to bite me in the ass.
They’ve been on my ipod for at least 3 years and Will and Rob have put them on in Notts and Derby respectively more than once, but for whatever reason I convinced myself that they’re nothing special every time I tried to get into it.
Anyway, Monday night at the Media Club while I was waiting for Andrew Jackson Jihad to play I finally saw LS&TC…
